The annual Self-Report on Identification and Services for
Students Who Are Gifted is now available in the Gifted Education
Compliance application through the OH|ID Portal. This required report documents school districts’ information related to practices, programming and policies for gifted education. It also provides information the Ohio Department of Education uses to develop resources and professional development related to gifted education.
The report is due no later than October 2,
2020. Districts needing additional time to submit the
report due to the COVID-19 related school building
closure should contact gifted staff in the Office for Exceptional
Children to establish a new timeframe for submission. Directions
for accessing and submitting the gifted self-report through the
OH|ID Portal are available here on the Ohio Department of Education
